Source and method
Data: the Farm Animal Register (Ūkinių gyvūnų registras, ŪGR), maintained by the State Enterprise Agricultural Data Centre (ŽŪDC) and published as open data. The register records four species separately - cattle, sheep, goats and horses; pigs and poultry have no rows in this dataset. The register is captured once a month; a snapshot that failed our consistency checks is excluded rather than shown. FERMOS.LT publishes the counts unchanged.
