Privacy policy and cookies

The registry is operated by FERMOS.LT, which is also the controller of personal data. For any question about data processing - including access to, correction or removal of data - write to us through the contact form. This is the main way to contact us.

FERMOS.LT is not a state institution and does not represent any state register. It is an independent information platform that, in the public interest, reflects data already published by state registers.

Registry data. Names of farms and companies, legal entity codes, municipality (without an exact address), public activity, EU support history, certificates, veterinary control, financial and other indicators - all from public state sources. Some records relate to natural persons (farmers).

Account data. If you create an account - your email address, name, phone number (if you provide it) and password, which is stored only as an encrypted cryptographic hash. Answers to the registration questionnaire are used to tailor our services.

Visit analytics. Page views, clicks, IP address, browser type and referring source - so that we can improve the website and keep it secure. This data is accessible only to the administrator and is not sold.

Public-interest registry. For transparency of the agricultural sector and accessibility of public state data - the legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Before publishing, we carried out a balancing-of-interests assessment and we apply privacy safeguards (see section 5) so that the processing does not infringe the rights and reasonable expectations of natural persons.

Account and services. Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) - so that you can log in and use the services.

Marketing cookies. Only on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a)) - see section 8.

Legal obligations. Where we are required to process data by law (Article 6(1)(c)).

Registry data was not obtained from you but from public state sources (GDPR Article 14). These include the State Enterprise Agricultural Data Centre (ŽŪDC), the Centre of Registers (Registrų centras), the State Tax Inspectorate (VMI), the National Paying Agency (NMA), the State Food and Veterinary Service (VMVT), the Employment Service (Užimtumo tarnyba), the Environmental Protection Agency (AAA), the State Plant Service (VAT), the public institution Ekoagros and others. FERMOS.LT does not create data and does not verify it independently - it only reflects what the primary source has published. If the primary source contains inaccuracies, they may also be reflected here.

Privacy protection is applied already at the time of import, not only in the interface:

• We never restore natural persons' data that the source has masked (CENZŪRUOTA).
• The location of natural persons is shown only at municipality level - without an exact address.
• We do not publish personal identification numbers, dates of birth or exact addresses.
• We do not match to a person NMA support recipients who are published only as a numeric code (up to €1,250).

Under the GDPR you have the right:

• to access your data (Article 15);
• to have it rectified (Article 16);
• to have it erased - the "right to be forgotten" (Article 17);
• to restrict its processing (Article 18);
• to object to processing based on legitimate interest, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21);
• to data portability, where applicable (Article 20).

To exercise any of these rights, write to us through the contact form. We will respond to your request within 1 month at the latest; in complex cases we may extend this period by up to a further 2 months, informing you of this within the first month. If we do not grant your request, we will state the reasons and inform you of your right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority and to seek a judicial remedy. We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity.

We remove a natural person's profile from FERMOS.LT on request. Although the registry data is public and obtained from state sources, we respect your right to object to it being shown on our platform.

You can have it removed in two ways:

• on your record's page (fermos.lt/ukis/..., in Lithuanian) by clicking "Prašyti pašalinti profilį" ("Request profile removal") - the profile is removed immediately;
• by writing to us through the contact form or with the report button at the bottom of the website.

A removed record is no longer shown publicly and is not re-added when data from the state registers is updated. Search engines (e.g. Google) may need several days to update - this depends on them. In some cases (e.g. a legal obligation) we may have grounds to retain a record - in that case we will state the reason.

Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. the login session) are required for the website to work and are used without separate consent.

First-party analytics cookies help us count visitors and improve the website.

Marketing cookies (Facebook, Google) are loaded only after you give explicit consent through the cookie banner. If you do not give consent, they are not loaded. You can change your choice at any time by deleting cookies in your browser settings; refusing is as easy as accepting.

Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored on a server with access control. Account passwords are stored only in the form of a de-identified cryptographic hash. We keep data for as long as necessary to achieve the stated purposes or as required by law.

If you believe your data is being processed improperly, we first invite you to contact us - the issue can usually be resolved quickly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
