Source and method
Cattle prices are ŽŪDC's weekly averages per 100 kg of carcass weight by SEUROP category. Published by the State Enterprise Agricultural Data Centre (ŽŪDC) on the Lithuanian open data portal get.data.gov.lt; FERMOS.LT imports the figures automatically and shows them unchanged. These are reported average farm-gate purchase prices paid to producers, not exchange quotes (such as Euronext/MATIF futures) and not a buyer's offer today; an individual deal may differ by quality, volume and contract terms.
